Rethinking the Book

Inkling is an intriguing startup that is busily engineering a new approach to ‘reading’.

They have a three pronged offering:

• Collaborative authoring through a globally deployed platform;
• An e-reading platform that works in new granular entities and allows for;
• An open approach to purchase that breaks a work into smaller individually purchasable parts

Together Inkling Habitat offers a fresh approach asks basic questions about how we engage with knowledge. I wish they supported more platforms, but am sure over tie that will change as they mature. There’s an every growing offering of works and for those that are looking into how the digital continues to evolve our relationship with data and knowledge Inkling is one to watch.
